As you may know, I’ve been in the process of moving for the past few months. It has had it’s ups and downs, but we are finally in a good place.
The boxes are being removed, pictures are hung, and furniture arranged.
I can breath again.
Moving with four children and two giant pups is never easy. But add an overseas flight, 3 day drive, and buying a house and you have a recipe for disaster. Thankfully we got through it all with relatively few issues! Just a tumble down some stairs, a pipe burst, and buying a home sight unseen.
My advice for such a huge undertaking is that you fill your cup as often as you can. From my daily cups of coffee with my husband, to the simple pleasure of hanging a photo on the wall, to watching my children make new friends among our neighbors. Little things that help make the stress take less of a toll on you and your mental health can do so much.
